We deliver to Luxembourg and its bordering areas in France, Germany and Belgium. Currently ambient and frozen goods, beverages and some chilled goods are delivered to the Brussels area in Belgium.

What Shopit
Shopit is part of the Trendwell Co. group of commercial activities (www.trendwell.lu) in Luxembourg, a company established in 1988. We consolidate and forward grocery orders for faraway markets, receive goods at our storage facilities, segregate and deliver.
How does Shopit work
The idea of faraway purchases is as such nothing new. There are many expatriate shops, local or internet based, most of which unfortunately have either a rather limited selection of products, exorbitant prices and/or high delivery costs. Groceries do not export and exporting wholesalers deal only pallet wise.
Through our contacts with major wholesalers in the sourcing countries our customers gain access to thousands and thousands of local products in faraway markets. We consolidate our customer orders and forward them as a bulk order to the wholesalers who ship us the goods. Once the goods arrive at our local storage facilities they are segregated and delivered to each customer. The whole delivery chain is temperature regulated. This concept has been time tested and running since 2005.
Order amounts
Products are offered in wholesale amounts which nevertheless does not equal as big quantities: more than 60% of the wholesale amounts in the current selection consist of 10 units or less and about 90% have a total value of less than 15 €. One wholesale amount (=ME) of Valio sour milk is 5x1 litres, 1 ME of Saarioinen cabbage rolls is one 2 kg package and 1 ME of Fazer's Blue Milk Chocolate is 35 bars. One ME has 12x200 g packs of frozen Pakkasmarja lingon berries or 6 packs of Saarioinen 400 g liver casseroles, TOLU-spray bottles come in 5 pieces, as well as copper sauna buckets etc etc... Many products can even be ordered in smaller quantities than in MEs (these products are marked red in the Product files).
How to order
Orders are consolidated once a month. Order deadlines can be found on top of this page.
- Download the Shopit FI spreadsheet (Excel-spreadsheet*) - Mark your purchases in the "Order cases" column - Save & send the spreadsheet to us (shopit@trendwell.lu).
- You get a confirmation of your order and payment instructions - Delivery is after eight days subsequent to the order week, in the evenings - Delivery time is notified per email at the beginning of the delivery week. Most
commonly it is given in form:
"Tuesday 18-21" * Should you not have access to Microsoft Excel, then you can use e.g. the OpenOffice spreadsheet program from Sun/Oracle to open the downloaded Excel-files. You can download OpenOffice for free from the following link: http://www.openoffice.org/.
Delivery costs
- Zone I: 7,00 € (delivery 0-30 km from Luxembourg / along the E411 motorway from Luxembourg to Brussels and the Brussels area) - Zone II: 14,00 € (delivery 30-50 km from Luxembourg city centre) - Surcharge for small orders: 7,00 € (for orders less than 80 € of value).

The customer is responsible for finding out whether the ordered products are suitable for purchase - if for local regulations or shelf life reasons. Shopit FarawayGroceries shall not be liable should the recipient Customs require additional fee/tax or confiscate the items or the package is being opened for inspection..
